Principal Areas of Research
My broad research interests are primarily in the intersection between cultural geography, philosophy, intellectual history and social and political theory. My current ambition is to develop some of the insights gained in my thesis through a number of projects. In some sense these projects are interrelated, at least in the questions they are asking about the problematic connections between practice and theory. These projects reflect my strong and on-going interest with the intersections of art, philosophy and science. In particular focus is the question of how these intersections can generate productive knowledge about the concepts of time and space in social, cultural and political theory.
